care and attention

“…a girl brought up with the utmost care…” -

Lady Bracknell, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

Referring to her daughter in a heated conversation with a possible suitor, Jack, Lady Bracknell refuses her daughter’s hand, for the moment.

I love that line, 'with the utmost care’.

Seems to me, especially in business, we often lack care and attention when building something. We are more interested in getting it out the door the fastest, than really raising the product with the utmost care.

Yes, speed is important, but so is depth and depth can only be created with care and attention.

Get skin in the game, take care.
