It started with a ballet...

When I was about 10 years old my parents took us to see a ballet in the State Theatre, Coppelia. Not the usual thing for Afrikaans parents to do for boys in 1980s South Africa but my parents were not the usual sort.

It blew my mind.

It blew my mind that human beings were able to create such things, that something as beautiful and intricate and fantastical could exist in someone’s mind and they could will it into being. That they could assemble a team of artists, musicians, technicians, and dancers and coordinate them to create such an experience.

It changed my life and set me on the creative course to forever be creating experiences.

This idea that we could, with what we build, and what we create, influence another’s life, emotions, will and even their entire being continues to fascinate, inspire, and fuel me.

So, two things;

One, I’ve added a page on my site where I now help businesses build incredible (or fix terrible) customer experiences.

And two, my friend of nearly 20 years invited me onto his podcast and we had a ton of fun talking about all things creative.

I would love it for you to go take a look,

at the newest incarnation of BE BRAVE and the podcast (and share both with friends, especially those who are building things that matter).

Be brave,

pierre
