Ka- what?

Kahu is a Hawaiian word that means honored attendant, guardian, nurse, regent, or keeper. It is also a warden and caretaker. It describes a protective, intimate, and confidential relationship.

It also means to oversee or prepare food using an oven fire; to build a fire; to burn, or an individual responsible for tending a fire.

Cooks and caretakers. That is what team leaders should be, obsessed with making something and jealous guardians of their team.
