the old contract

There used to be a social contract that went something like this,

If you go and study something useful you can get a job at a nice company, maybe a big one (the bigger the better) and if you hand over all your talent, hours, and effort they’ll take care of you and your family.

However, that has long since ceased to hold true, even if self-seeking big business is still making those promises.

You’re ever just one email away from a broken promise.

The future (present) of work is different.

Teams coming together around a mission.

Teams swarming to create something valuable.

Teams gathering and gearing up to create change.

Find (or build) the team you want to be a part of.

Create change.

Then do it again.
