There is no discuss

Here is what grates me recently.

It destroys me when in a meeting there is something simple that has been decided on and needs to be done and the reply is a grey,

“We’ll explore that.”

or

“Let’s have a conversation about this.”

Unless you are talking about a peace treaty between warring factions, there is nothing to discuss or explore.

Do it or do not, there is no 'discuss'.
