The hero at the end of the story is either,

united,

affirmed,

or transformed.

United with the one they love, with the long lost friend, even with a great treasure.

Affirmed in their identity, being told they have what it takes, that they are good enough.

Transformed into a better person, a person with new depth and character.

When someone engages with you and your work, what happens at the end? What will they feel, will they feel a sense of being united, affirmed, or transformed. Figure it out and then tell them that that is what is at stake.
