"The new country is where you are called to go, and the only way to go there is naked and vulnerable" - Henri Nouwen

I read this passage this morning and was reminded once again that all transitions in life require a letting go, a dying and a vulnerability. Whether it is starting a new career or getting married, what served you so well previously will now weigh you down, more than that it will actually could make it completely impossible to move forward.

In just about every adventure story there’s a scene where the hero needs to get through a tiny gap or jump a ravine and they need to leave behind their backpack, the treasure, or whatever they are carrying in order to fit through the hole or make the jump.

Get skin in the game, what do you need to leave behind?
