The King. Here is a trap people often fall into, they do not know the difference between being the leader, and leading.
A person only holds the power of the King for a time, but the power or energy of the King is eternal. Often in history certain people had to be executed so that the power of the King could be torn from them and could move on, today we call that impeachment.
The problem begins then when the person starts thinking that they are the King, instead of holding the King's power for a while or even a lifetime.
Today, distinguish between who you are, and what your temporary authority is. Good leaders know how to hold power without identifying with it, because leadership is a function and not a position.
Get skin in the game.
